SEPTEMBER 11, 2006 MEETING OF THE EFFICIENCY, REFORM, AND INTERGOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE OF THE ULSTER COUNTY LEGISLATURE

The meeting was called to
order at 6:09 p.m. by Gary Bischoff.
Vic Work discussed Fleet
Management proposal. This will be
voted on at the September legislative session. There was concern regarding the grade of the position and
the remaining positions.
Joe Roberti presented his
proposal for a Countywide Accountability program. After discussion, committee agreed that Bischoff should
write a letter to Brian Cahill, Chair of Administrative Services committee and
make recommendation that Administrative Services work on this since Information
Services must be very involved in the process. Tracey Bartels suggested that we reach out to committee
chairs to se what departments / measurements should be done.
Ralph Childers – Would
like legislature to pass a resolution calling for investigation of Bush
Administration. Mr. Childers
offered committee DVDs and book regarding the legal aspects of impeachment. We were notified that there would be a
rally and demonstration at the September 13 legislative session.
